ABOUT THE PROJECT
The War first started coming to life when Run Deer Run was conceived earlier this year. We began writing music fueled by our passion for connection and craftsmanship, and have developed a musical style that we are extremely proud of. The War will contain 8 original songs that we've been composing over the past year and we cannot wait to share them with you.
With a strong belief in quality and authenticity in every element of our music, we’re recording The War at The Station Recording Co. in Calgary with producers Craig Newnes and Spencer Cheyne. We recorded our first single, Trespassers, with them and they understand our vision and want to capture our live sound as accurately as possible. Beyond being extremely talented producers and musicians, Craig and Spencer are great humans and we can't wait to work with them again.
